This was shot for a jewelry magazine cover featuring Porntip Nakhirunkanok -shortly after she had been crowned Miss Universe in 1988. This was one of several shots I had planned which included jewelry provided by a company featured in the magazine.
I recall being quite nervous as it was my first time photographing a celebrity; I didn't know what to expect. To my surprise, she was extremely nice and very patient, which went a long way to help thing go smoothly.
